Rebecca and Brady | Columbus, TX
Kindred spirits. Those are the first words that come to mind when I think of Rebecca and Brady. If you could see a soul, theirs probably fit perfectly together like puzzle pieces that make up something greater and more beautiful when they're put together.
I had photographed the wedding of some of Rebecca's close friends in North Carolina a few years earlier, and when she and Brady got engaged, she reached out immediately. I can't tell you how both humbling and empowering it was to be one of the first things on her list for her wedding - she and Brady trusted me completely with their wedding day, and that's the best thing I can ask for when stepping into a wedding.
And every piece of their wedding was intentional. They said their vows under a giant sky in Rebecca's parent's backyard, a pecan grove where she and Brady shared their first kiss years ago under the stars. Their wedding reception was in the tiny downtown of Columbus at a historic opera house, where their people sang and danced around them until their prayerful send off at the end of the night.
I am so happy, so glad and so humbled to have met and worked with Rebecca and Brady and their family and friends. See you two soon, let's make that dinner happen next time we're all in the same city.
